Herren Associates, Inc., a leading provider of engineering andmanagement consulting services, announced today the award of a new contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to support its government-wide Performance Management initiative. The five-year contract valued at $7.2 million was let through GSA’s Office of Executive Councils (OEC).

Terms of the contract require Herren to support organizational research and analysis, metric rationalization, and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development. In addition, Herren will provide subject matter expertise in leading business performance improvement methods.
As part of GSA, the OEC develops recommendations on effective strategies for best business practices on matters related to the Federal government. It requires a comprehensive range of technical, analytical, and organizational advisory and assistance services with emphasis on business performance improvement, program management support, services, and solutions.
