Outer Banks, North Carolina

We took a fun family road trip to Cape Hatteras on the outerbanks of North Carolina for spring break and to celebrate Peters birthday. It was very peaceful and serene.

Barrett eating fried ALLIGATOR!! It was grissly and chewy, I don't recommend...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, we had intended to go deep sea fishing for Peter's birthday but it was cancelled on both days because the sea was too rough. He was disappointed so we found a river inland to fish on.
Sara was so determined, she said she would not leave until she got a bite.
My three boys fishing, sooo cute. The back drop is for REAL.
We took a ferry to the island of Ocracoke island for the day to see the Ocracoke Lighthouse and play on the windy beach with the kites.

This is my favorite, The Bodie Lighthouse.
Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. The kids and I climbed all the way to the top. My palms got sweaty and everytime Barrett leaned over the staircase to look down it made me weak in the knees.
Kite Flying at Jockey's Ridge in Kitty Hawk.
HAPPY EASTER
