A busy season comes to an end. All went smoothly for Kate she played one of her best seasons yet, but the drama with football continued on. The last two bowl games were both on Sundays and the season party at the bowling ally went crashing down when the coach and I got into a loud argument. It took everything I had in me not to walk out and cry. I called Peter over and he took the coach outside to cool off. Luckily, the music was loud and the boys were occupied with bowling. All is well now, but it was a rough one for this team mom. Most of the boys on the team were "mature" enough to filter out the good advice from the constant yelling and demeaning put downs, unforturnaly there were a few that gave up and quit in the end. One of the moms on the team said this about coach scott."I just want to SPANK him and then give him a hug" He was really tough on the boys & humiliated them if they did anything wrong. He is famous for throwing his clip board and water bottle down while screaming obsenities. Through all of this Quinn has grown to be a great team player and can't wait to play again next season. Football is HIS game.
