We had a very busy day at our house yesterday! Eva started going into labor at 1:00pm. Peter rushed home from work and we waited and comforted her until that darn little puppy got stuck and wouldn't come out. We call the vet and she talked us through a few things to try and then told us to bring her into the Emergency Vet, we got her into the truck and Peter drove like a crazy person, the puppy was turning purple and we were sure that we had lost it. I was crying, Peter yelling at people driving and honking. Just as we were turning into the parking lot she pushed that cute little puppy out. What a relief!!! We decided that we should name that one "Truck" or "Ford" until we found out it was a cute little girl. She is black, white, grey weighing 16.3 oz. The contractions started again an hour later and then at 6:30pm puppy #2 was born, male, 17 oz. (Kate delivered this one because as luck would have it I had to pick up Barrett from the football field because of lightning). Then 9HOURS later(3:40am) she had #3. Another female, white/tan color weighing only a tiny 14.1 oz. They are soooo cute and Eva is doing great.
