Sorry this was so late, but it takes a long time to upload history.....So, on the Morning of the Inauguration, we woke up at 3am on 1.20.09, got all bundled up, and left for the metro at 4am. soooooooooo early, but we were wide awake to witness this. the metro was PACKED! there was a line that went around the WHOLE parking garage! so it took at least 30 minutes to get ON the metro. It was just packed everywhere! we were jam packed on the metro, when we got off the metro it was just, like you barley had any walking space, and there was about 1/2 and foot between you and the actual metro. there was just soooooooo many people! We finally made it onto the Mall at about 8am. you can see how MANY people were there. (especally if u watched the news and saw everybody waving their flags..........here was our "flag" view......

oh did i mention Grandma Susie came with Mom, and I? But it was well worth it and we witnessed history! but the after math of the Inauguration was a way different story..........ALL THE METROS WERE BLOCKED. WE WERE TRAPPED! THERE WAS PEOPlE EVERYWHERE! so bad that we had to WALK on the main freeway 395 ALL the WAY HOME!
But, we finally got home, and we were So glad that we witnessed the Inauguration of President Obama!
